Admission in Undergraduate Programmes in the 1st year of the
academic session 2024-25 in all the colleges are being offered as per NEP-2020.
Each 4-year multidisciplinary Bachelor's programme will
comprise of courses i.e. Discipline Specific Courses (DSC), Minor Courses
(MIC), Multidisciplinary courses (MDC), Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC),
Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC), Value Added Courses (VAC), Internship and
Research Project.
Multiple Entry and Exit Options: Students can exit the
program at various stages and receive corresponding qualifications subject to
fullfilling all the conditions as per affiliating university norms:
After 1 year: UG Certificate
After 2 years: UG Diploma
After 3 years: UG Degree in the Major discipline
After 4 years: UG Honours/Honours with Research Degree in
the Major discipline
The Bachelor of Science in Medical will now be termed as
Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences under NEP nomenclature. Similarly,
Bachelor of Science in Non-Medical will be termed as Bachelor of Science in
Physical Sciences under NEP nomenclature.
